It is important to me to be able to teach the versatility of music and the cello in my lessons. Music is fun and with the cello even more!
Making music together is a valuable part of musical education and encourages motivation. In the individual training, it is important to me to respond to the wishes and goals of the students and to consider their priorities. Thus, I am convinced that music lessons can also positively influence personality development. My personal pedagogical goal is to recognize and support the full potential of the students in order to enable them to find their way in the world of music.
During my further education in music physiology I became aware of the important connection between music and body (posture) and I realized that this approach should not be missing in a modern teaching style. It is a central goal of mine to give my students, in addition to making music and the joy of it, a conscious awareness of their bodies. Topics such as stage presence, audition training and easy-to-implement tips and tricks against stage fright are discussed. Through mental work, playful physical exercises or specific strengthening techniques for the hand muscles, I want to give my students easy-to-implement tools that support independent practice.
